Kevin
Brunner
...
loves building video games, and has been trying
to find an excuse to do so since he earned his first
computer (a TI-994A) by delivering Pizza coupons
door-to-door in high-school. Any computing platform
he's had his hands on has turned out a video game
in one form or another including platforms as unsuited
for it as calculators and mainframe terminals. He's
not bad at commercial software either, contributing
to several products for TiVo and SGI -- don't be
fooled, most of these were related to video games
in one way or another. In a former life Kevin was
a carpenter in the Army, and a commercial educator
teaching systems, graphics, networking and programing
at HP, SGI, Tandem, Boeing and NASA (among others). |
Amil
McAnelly
...
the audio specialist, dabbles in soundscapes and
abstract whatever-makes-the-eardrums-vibrate. He's
a self-proclaimed mad scientist (sucker) for what
keeps people humming. Originally a euphonium player,
he has learned many instruments, except for drum
set; because his feet dont work. Subsequently
he cant dance (shhh dont tell anybody
because hes trying to get a date.) A music
media major, Xploids is the first foray in what
he hopes to be several gaming audio soundtracks.
Hey the Beatles had to start somewhere, could have
been games if they were 40 years later. Amil also
loves playing a wide variety of games when procrastinating
at work.

Debbie Brown
... Native to California, Debbie
Brown has been singing since she was a child. Performing
in various drama guilds as well as elite vocal ensembles
prepared Debbie to strive for a Bachelors of Arts
in Music as an adult. Debbie achieved her goal with
a degree from San Jose State University in 2003.
While attending SJSU Debbie was a member of the
SJSU Concert Choir, Women's Chorus as well as having
many roles in the light Operal productions with
the Opera Workshop program via Opera San Jose. Debbie
studied directly under Erie Mills, Soprano for three
years and still continues to study with her. Goals
directly in Debbies future include attending voice-over
classes to achieve a job as a character in an animated
film as well as to continue to perform concerts
that reflect the classical training that she has
received. |
Peter S. Conrad
...
was born in New York City and is currently serving
exile in California. His comics and cartoons have
appeared in many magazines and a few newspapers,
including TooMuchCoffeeMan, Kitchen Sink, The Berkeley
Daily Planet, and several alternative newsweeklies.
His work also appears in the anthologies True Porn,
Big Dumb Fun, Swell, SPX 2003, and others. He has
been publishing mini-comics such as Attempted Not
Known since 1994. Frustrated by the lack of a free
comics reader for the Palm, Conrad wrote Zeenster,
which is growing in popularity; Zeenster content
has been released by Donna Barr, model Shari Eckert,
and TiVo. Conrad's cartoons also appear on movie
screens in the Silicon Valley, and were featured
on the Netscape humor channel until 9/11 killed
irony. Conrad no longer hates anything, but does
dislike long walks on the beach. |
Dion Brooks aka Wushu, Warchylde, Mr. D,
Dickey ( shut up... its a looong story)
... your typical ex-bodyguard, bounty hunter, bouncer,
actor, furniture mover, janitor, pizza delivery
guy and towel boy at the Holiday Inn turned musician,
scholar, artist and web developer. He can currently
be found in the Texas region attempting to dodge
gainful employment, responsibility, sobriety and
chastity... although not in that order... usually... |
Ryan Pressler
...An archetypal human wielding artistic dexterity
in mostly virtual and tangible space. Born and raised
in Pleasanton (a pleasant town...), California,
Ryan was responsible for Xploids two dimensional
user interface as well as other graphical elements
including menus and logos. Ryan has a BA in multimedia/digital
arts from CSUH, though his artistic prowess was
rooted long before college. Inspiration, in the
form of skateboard art, album covers, and rock shirts
came at a young age to Ryan. The work in his earliest
portfolios are heavily influenced by the Cold War,
Iron Maiden, Santa Cruz surf and skate, Town &
Country, OP, and pinball art. The work in his latest
portfolio is concocted mostly of a nature base with
hints of antiquity, accented by classical disclosure,
and garnished with originality. Ryan enjoys large
puddles, cuttle fish, demented muppets, butterscotch
pudding, and string theory. Many of his friends
have
worked in the pizza business at one time or another. |
Robin Hayes
... is a programmer, 3d designer, singer, lover,
artist, and dad (in reverse order of importance.)
He has been programming and creating computer graphics
since childhood, and loves to design things, and
talk
about cool subjects. Like almost everyone else on
the team, he worked at one point in the pizza industry,
and although he cannot eat it, still enjoys the
concept. He has worked as an Intranet Technologist,
as a Web Guru and as a World Builder among other
titles, and that was just for SGI. He loves anything
mathematical and/or 3-dimensional. Things that are
both (like say... life) are especially fascinating
to him. He spends his evenings being a single dad,
and taking care of his cats, as well as playing
video games. |
Don Garrett
... long time gamer and general geek of many talents.
Also responsible for 75% of all Diet Coke consumption
in the continental US. |
